Kevin Caners, host and producer

CBC radio has been playing during most of the important moments of Kevin's life and this project is born out of both his love for the medium, his belief in the idea and importance of public broadcasting and a curiosity about the voices that he has been listening to for the past 20-something years.

Kevin is the host of the weekly radio program The Public on CIUT 89.5 in Toronto and when he's not listening to CBC or NPR or making radio himself, he enjoys leisurely breakfasts, reading the newspaper, documentary film-making (you can view some of his short films here), idling in coffee shops, playing squash, and ambling through nature.

You can reach him at kevin@thepublicradio.org or on twitter @kevincaners
